Industrial Pallet Racking

Industrial Pallet rack is a material handling storage aid system designed to store materials on pallets (or “skids”). Although there are many varieties of pallet racking, all types allow for the storage of palletized materials in horizontal rows with multiple levels. Forklift trucks are usually required to place the loaded pallets onto the pallet racks for storage. Since the Second World War, industrial pallet racking has become a ubiquitous element of most modern warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail centers, and other storage and distribution facilities. All types of industrial pallet racking increase storage density of the stored goods. Costs associated with the racking increases with increasing storage density.

Structural pallet rack systems are very similar to roll formed pallet rack systems except the horizontal load beams are attached to the uprights with bolts and have much greater weight-bearing capacity. The bolt fixings make this a form of adjustable shelving - racks can be constructed, reconfigured, and dismantled and reused as necessary.Structural pallet racking can be designed into the structure of the building itself, so that the upright columns are simultaneously used to support the roof of the storage facility, in which case the structural pallet rack uprights replace the storage building's vertical support I-beams. This system is a rack supported building.

Store Display Rack

In retail commerce, visual chip display racks and merchandising means merchandise sales using product design, selection, packaging, pricing, and display that stimulates consumers to spend more. This includes disciplines and discounting, physical presentation of products and candy display racks, and the decisions about which products should be presented to which customers at what time. Often in a retail setting, creatively tying in related products or accessories is a great way to entice consumers to purchase more.

A store shelf (PL: shelves) is a flat, horizontal plane used to display items that are displayed in a store or stored in a back room, business, store, or elsewhere. It is raised off the floor and often anchored to a wall, supported on its shorter length sides by brackets, or otherwise anchored to cabinetry by brackets, dowels, screws, or nails. It can also be held up by columns or pillars. A shelf is also known as a counter, ledge, mantel, or rack. Tables designed to be placed against a wall, possibly mounted, are known as console tables, and are similar to individual shelves.

Gondola Shelf Fencing

Gondola Shelf Fencing is a steel wire fixture that encloses an area gondola shelving, typically in a store environment, and is usually constructed from steel wire that connects to a shelf with a clip on the foot of the fence.  Gondola Shelf Fencing can be used by a store owner as a type of binning system. A fence differs from a end panel in not having a solid foundation along its whole length of the shelf.
